Dress Code

KY Patriot Guard Riders Dress Code

We represent the Patriot Guard in Honoring our fellow Veterans and First Responders.  You are attending the funeral of an American hero, so please dress appropriately.

Depending on the climate, the clothing worn can change dramatically. The best rule of thumb is to wear what you would normally wear when riding.
It is easier to illustrate the dress code by letting you know what is Not acceptable:

  •  Shorts of any kind
  • Tank tops
  • Halter tops for ladies
  • Sandals or flip-flops
  • Any clothing or other attire which contains ANY offensive language, statements or remarks
  • Any clothing that emphasizes the male or female anatomy is considered offensive and should not be worn
  • NO Shirts, Hats or anything stating to vote for any named politician. If you go to a political event, please do not wear your PGR gear (same standards we had wearing the uniform). We do not want to jeopardize our 501(c)3 status.
Ride Captains will make on-the-spot corrections and in those cases where corrections cannot be made you will be asked to leave the flag line.
